Well, he's given me the test referrals I needed, and has also referred me to a special scan clinic, run by gynos and obstetricians who have gone on to specialise in reproductive imaging. He said that basically they won't be inclined to do the laparoscopy until I'm under BMI 35, unless something shows up on the the scan. And he said it's definitely not normal, and the pain I described is concerning, so to get the scan done ASAP. So I'll be ringing them tomorrow to see when I can go in, and we'll go from there
