I've heard some get symptoms & some don't, so I guess so. I had symptoms for 9yrs, but my gyn back then wouldn't listen to my repeated concerns that something was wrong, so I just ended up listening to him. Then my new gyn still took 6mths b4 he agreed there was an issue & only then did he put me on the 12mth waiting list for hospital, that's when I started shopping around for another gyn with a shorter list, but that list kept growing whilst I was on it too & I gave up on the public system. Hope u have more luck. There are risks with every procedure, but the stats I was given was that each risk was 1%.
