I think that one thing that happens as you get further into expressing (whether it is for work or for EE reasons), is that you get more gung-ho about when and where you express (similarly to public breastfeeding).
I just used anywhere in a parent's room with a power point - not worrying about the cubicle; similarly any old empty room at work, or sitting on the floor in a quiet bit near a power point when at a meeting - with a big jacket people are going to hear and know what you are doing, but they won't actually get an eye-full.

Yep I expressed at work with a big t-shirt on over the pump & stuff, not in a separate room (there was none) but around the corner behind some shelves. It became very ho-hum after a while and one or two of the guys would come & chat while I expressed, another couple wouldn't come anywhere near me, lol.

Timing - I expressed every 3.5 hours for the first couple of weeks, then 4 hourly for the next few weeks and then 4.5 hourly until about 7 months I think.... my memory is failing me & I'd probably have to read back through this thread to find out for sure
Overnight I was doing 5 hours or so from about 4 weeks I guess...then 6 hourly maybe at 3 or 4 months?
I might have a dig back through here & see if I can find out for sure.

One thing I can tell you is that it WILL get easier, and then you will look back and wonder how you ever did it
