All of my children have slept in a cot in our room until about 12 months (Heather will find her way into her own room shortly). However during the early months, they have often "found" their own way into our bed during the night. I think it has been a lovely experience and sometimes I still bring the baby into our bed just because I want to.

Heather too has had this most appalling chronic cough from May to November and it has been reassuring for us to know that she is still breathing when she is right beside us.
