I think with us anyway, we felt safe doing it - you get lots of instinctive feelings as a parent! We moved our pillows down a little so our heads were level with Marisa - so if she would roll into us it would be our heads. As the cameras on A Current Affair picked up, she moved upwards in the bed. I have never found her down the bed. We also have a fairly firm mattress.
