Give it time, if you have it. My story was very similar, except many years later that longing crept up on me unexpectedly! I'm glad now that we didn't make any permanent decisions. I'm not saying you too will change your mind, you might never, but I know now that I would be heartbroken if I had made a permanent decision before I was sure because once the longing came it was very hard to ignore!
