    Ashley is the 2nd grandson on my parents side ( his cousin is joshua and he is 10)

    on my In laws side Ashley is the 4th grandchild and 2nd grandson ( Stephanie 10,Heather 8,Aaron 5)

    On my side:
    DD#1 - 2nd grandchild
    DD#2 - 4 grandchild
    Dd#3 -5 grandchild

    His side:
    DD#1 - 1st grandchild
    DD#2 - 3 grandchild
    DD#3 - 5 grandchild....

    On DH's side
    First and only grandchildren both sides
    First and second great grand children to DH's Nan and Pop on his mum's side

    My side of the family:
    Mum's side
    7th and 8th grandchildren

    Dad's side
    6th and 7th grandchildren (I think)

    DD1 is #5 (number 6 arrived today and the oldest just turned 5 years old)
    DD2 due in July will be #7

    DH Side
    DD1 is #3
    DD2 #4 (all girls so far)

    There a quite a few first on both sides aren't there.

    My DS is the first grandchild on both sides too.

    And, My DS was born with the full set, 4 grandparents and 8 great-grandparents! Unfortunately we now only have 6 of the greats. DH lost a grandfather and I lost a grandmother when I was pregnant with DD.

    Okay.....

    Rhys was the 3rd for my mum....we were all pregnant within the same yr!!
    And the one I am baking now will be number 4 for my mum!

    DH's side....
    Rhys was first for them excluding the step grandchildren for DH's dad.
    And the one I am baking now will be number 2 for them.

    DS1 - 1st grandchild - 6th great grandchild.(2nd boy.) - 1st great great grandchild.
    DS2 - 2nd grandchild - 8th great grandchild.(3rd boy.) - 2nd great great grandchild.

    DP's side.
    DS1 - 4th grandchild. (3rd boy.)
    DS2 - 6th grandchild. (5th boy.)

    My side:
    Belly baby will be 2nd grandchild; paternal 6th great grandchild and maternal 3rd great grandchild

    DPs side:
    Belly baby will be 1st grandchild; paternal 1st great grandchild and maternal 1st great grandchild

    Jazz was first grandchild on my side, 4th (I think) granddaughter on Shel's side.

    But you'd never know, she's more spoilt than the other granddaughters from Shels parents!!!!!

    DS1 - #1 grandchild and #1 grandson
    DS2 - #2 grandchild and #2 grandson
    I'm the only one who's "bred" so far and it doesn't look likely for at least another 2 years.

    XH's side
    DSD - #1 grandchild and #1 granddaughter
    DS1 - #2 grandchild and #1 grandson
    DS2 - #6 grandchild and #4 grandson.
    My XILs were lucky enough to have 5 grandchildren (from three of their kids) within 2 years and 3 months!

    DD2 - Number 2 on both sides
    DD3 - will be Number 3 on DH's side and number 4 on my side. All of the GC are girls.

    My side of the family were:
    #1 Lachie (1st grandson)
    #2 Allira (on the way(1st granddaughter)

    DH's side of the family were:
    #1 Lachlan (1st grandson)
    #2 Allira - on the way (1st Granddaughter)

    My kids are both the firsts on both sides. Kinda special I think.

    this bub will be first for my dad
    second for my mum and stepdad but first grandson my niece is 1
    DH side he will be 5th then another will follow very soon after (he has 3 older stepsisters)

    My first son is the first grandchild on both sides...

    2nd son is 3rd grandchild on my mums side but only second alive (sister had a baby that passed at 21 weeks) and 5th on my inlas side

    3rd son is 4th on my mums side and 6th on inlaws

    DD is 6th on my mums side and 7th on the inlaws

    DD is 29th grandchild on my side (can't be bothered counting up the grandsons/daughters bit!!)
    and...
    2nd grandchild (1st granddaughter) on ILs side.
    Yet both lots of grandies treat her as No. 1
