Thanks for the hugs TC - much needed today - and yes, you're right, you don't ever really get used to it....you just learn to function on a different level

Did have a massage today which helped me feel better

Huggles K it's easy for ppl to say 'get over it' when they haven't lost anyone close to them. you can grieve for as long as it takes you not what others think is an acceptable amount time

    ^^ wss

*hugs* hun. There's no getting over it. My grandma sometimes still tears up when she talks about her mum. There is moving on eventually in that you find a new kind of normal. It does take time (cliche but true). It's only been a few months so allow yourself to grieve as you need to.

Beautiful disaster if so called 'friends' are sick of reading about it on fb tell them not to read it!!! Simple as that, if they cannot empathize with you then they are not real friends. Hugs to you and you take as long as you need!

Coming up to 14 years for me and I still have those days. You do learn to carry on better but it's always there.

Take them as they come. Sometimes I find looking at photos and things help but other times it's too raw for me to do so.

Today she would have been just 50.

how do I get though this? I feel like I've been hit by a bus after my meltdown last night.

do you all find it gets harder at this time of year no matter how long it's been?

THANK YOU all for the loving support you have all offered. xxx
