Do you have to peel apricots?

Before stewing them? I have so many apricots, but don't know whether to peel them first. Does anyone know? Ta

nope I wouldn't. The skin is pretty thin anyway. I made apricot jam and stewed some just a couple of weeks ago and left the skin on them all.

Nope, just give them a rinse and away they go!

Beware the stone for little little ones when eating them whole, but DD (3) eats them like they are going out of fashion and never has an issue.

Make a 'x' in their bottoms, drop them in boiling water for 60 seconds, then blanch in icey water. The skin should peel straght off, leaving the apricot flesh firm
