Oh my reading this has almost made me want to move back to the UK where most schools do school dinners. I am such a believer in eating main meal of the day at lunch time - am I correct in thinking that when at school even if you order lunch in - it is still of the several 'snacks' variety rather than a hot/main meal? Where do kids eat meals at school? Do they have plates and knifes and forks etc or is it all out of the lunchbox.

Lunchbox inspections sound horrific.
