:Hello: Hi everyone!
I had a go at making some chickpea patty thingys last night, I didn't use a recipe, kinda just guessed and made it up as I went and amazingly they turned out pretty good! A bit of a weird consistancy (I was a little trigger happy with the hand held mixer thing... I only wanted to moosh them a little but I ended up pureeing it hahaha) But still they tasted good! My grandpa even had some cos they smelt so nice LOL.
Cherished - Cous Cous salad sound delish! I always tend to have cous cous with wintery veggies but a citrusy cous cous salad sounds like it would be quite tasty, well suited to summer!
Audax - I should have used your BBQ ideas on the weekend. I was invited out to a bbq... I ended up eating a little bit of steak because I felt so bad about being a PITA to everyone there... it was with people I don't know very well so, I dunno, I just didn't want to put any one out I guess. It tasted gross, so it made me feel good about my decision to not eat meat (even tho I was eating it at the time LOL). I should have made some skewers and taken them with me, they sound yummo.
I have noticed that my tastes are changing a bit... I never (and I mean NEVER) eat raw tomato in salads etc, but on the weekend had salad with heaps of tomato in it and oh my goodness it was so tasty! LOL Did anyone else notice their tastes change too? Maybe its just because I'm trying lots of different foods at the moment or something
Anyway, I should get back to work LOL
Hope everyone is well![]()

I think of you all the time! lol I think we'll have to organise some Brissy or sunny coast meet ups with some BB gals
Your BBQ stuff sounds great. We don't have a BBQ but would love to get one. Our deck is exposed at the moment, either next summer (or the one after) we 'may' cover it and put furniture out there. When we do BBQ's will be on the agenda for sure!

Does anyone have any suggestions for good vego food in the (lower) Blue Mountains/Syd area? Surely there is somewhere out there that offers something other than spinach and ricotta ravioli
