    Question Eating = pain

As most of u know i just had my gall bladder out.
Well now everytime i eat i get a bad pain in my stomach. It happens just after i eat. and it doesn't matter what food it is (not eating any fatty foods anyways) just makes this hard to discribe pain in my belly straight after eating and stays for 10mins to an hour. kinda like a belly bug pain.

    Is this common after surgery???

It sounds like what you have is delayed gastric emptying which is quite common after abdo surgery.. Is it kinda in the centre about half way toyour belly button? That would be beacuse the valve at the bottom of your stomach is having trouble opening to release the food through. It usually resolves with time but if it doesnt after a few weeks go see a doc cos there are meds that can help.
