I seem to have caught someone else's B.O!!!

Sorry. if this post is a bit gross..
Warning, I have discovered you can catch B.O so be careful whose tops you wear!!
Ok, so my SIL gave me a whole bunch of old pregnancy tops which were washed, but after wearing one for a day, I realised it had that residue B.O smell left in it that sometimes stays there when clothes are old, which seems to have decided to stick around!
I had pretty much eliminated B.O. from my life with all the healthy eating, detox and water drinking I have done over the past couple of years and I barely usually have any smell!
But now after wearing her tops, I cannot get rid of the smell from out of my armpits, even after washing with lavendar and tea tree oil the past two days.. I havent had B.O like this since I was a teenager (which is when I used to get that residue smell on my tops even after washed, which I have not had in years!!)
Help!.. any suggestions? Have I now caught her bacteria and is it going to stick around?? Gross...
Perhaps I have to try a stronger tea tree solution.. ?!?

are you pregnant? your sense of smell is much more defined when pregnant.

I would try washing the tops with bicarb, and for yourself? I dont know, maybe try the bi carb as well?

Your body smells change lots when you're pregnant too though. I notice at different stages through my pregnancy I have BO, but I am not usually one to smell at all and I never have been. At the moment I am going through a smelly stage, but about 3 weeks ago I could get away without wearing deodorant at all.

Awesome tip about the bicarb... I've found a couple of mine and my husband tops are disgusting and I've thought about throwing them out... do you soak them in it or wash in the machine? how much?

Try wiping your pits with white vinegar. It kills off the bacteria so kills off the smell. You do smell a bit vinegary at first but it soon fades.

With the tops try spraying them with white vinegar too and leaving to soak for a bit. Then throw them in a hot (as hot as machine and clothes allow) wash and it should help.
If the sweat is old stains you may have to do this a few times, or they may past it. But give it a go
