Your body smells change lots when you're pregnant too though. I notice at different stages through my pregnancy I have BO, but I am not usually one to smell at all and I never have been. At the moment I am going through a smelly stage, but about 3 weeks ago I could get away without wearing deodorant at all.
Awesome tip about the bicarb... I've found a couple of mine and my husband tops are disgusting and I've thought about throwing them out... do you soak them in it or wash in the machine? how much?
Try wiping your pits with white vinegar. It kills off the bacteria so kills off the smell. You do smell a bit vinegary at first but it soon fades.
With the tops try spraying them with white vinegar too and leaving to soak for a bit. Then throw them in a hot (as hot as machine and clothes allow) wash and it should help.
If the sweat is old stains you may have to do this a few times, or they may past it. But give it a go
The sense of smell is a funny thing... once we "tune into" a particular smell it tends to leave an imprint on the olfactory (nose nerves... not sure of the spelling) similar to when we look at something bright like a TV screen then look at a black wall. IYKWIM? So your nose might be more tuned into her smell than it usually would be. I'm sure other people aren't noticing. If you kill off the bacteria in the clothing in the ways described here then they should stay dead LOL and once you have your baby I'm sure your body will settle down and you'll resume your old smell Sunshine is also an excellent antibacterial... when you hang them on the line make sure the arm pits are given maximum exposure to the rays!
Danielle- you could make up a paste of bicarb and water and/or vinegar and rub in to areas, as well as adding to the machine or dispenser when you wash. I just put in as much as I would with washing powder.
