If you want to keep some carbs in your diet - one of the best for your blood sugar is to keep the old museli in...but I mean the raw one, not the yummy, crunchy toasted delish one.
I make my own with oats (must be rolled), oat bran, pepitas, sunflower seeds, chopped up dried fruit - maybe apricots and peaches, a little shredded coconut and lots of sultanas.
It is a low GI (so great for keeping your blood sugar steady and keeping u fuller for longer) healthy, filling breakfast.
Rather then cut out carbs - you should check out some of the low GI sites. The is now probably the most recommended way to eat because it keeps your sugars on an even flow all day..
