Question about tubal ligation reversal

Hi,

I am new here so sorry if this is in the wrong spot

I had a tubal ligation 2 years ago, and since then I have had problems with my period, mood swings, really bad period pain(I am almost vomitting every month), I would really like to get it reversed and the clamps taken out. Has anyone had this done, if so could you tell me what is involved? (I know how much it costs and have read a bit about it), I just want to hear from someone who has experienced it so I am more prepared when the time comes to get them taken out. I have tried explaining to my GP what is going on each month but she hasn't really listened and just put me on the pill, which did nothing.
