My experience (from my posts on the topic ) was that different places make you do different things. I did my 2 hour test through Dorevitch & and they didn't make me do the special diet at all, just the fasting. So saying, I looked at what I'd eaten and it was prolly pretty high carb anyway! And yes, I wondered the same thing, did you do the screening GCT test (the 1 hour?).

Ask at the place you're booked into re their requirements. And you do have to sit there for the whole 2 hours - you can't wander off & go shopping
