WooHoo SnowChickie on being on maternity leave!!
I don't remember any irational rants SnowChickie. Besides we all have those when pg anyway.
My GP said that they will monitor my bsls while in hospital and I will have to monitor them until my 6 week check up when he'll send me for a GTT. 3 months seems like a long time to me. 6 weeks is bad enough to have to wait for me lol.
Remember that sizing u/s can be out by 20%. That's either side of the reading they give you.
It all depends on what my reading is after dinner as to what I snack on. If my reading is low then I might indulge in a little fruit and ice cream liek I did last night. If it's high then I just stick to the Jarrah Hot Choc. Milo used to send my levels way over the top, but I know others that it's fine with. Unfortunately it's just a matter of finding out what's right for you.
As for me, I just back from the drs. BP was about 95 this morning so he said that there was no need to 'interviene' at this stage and just to report the levels to the dr tomorrow. What ever interviene is. I'll ask about that tomorrow.
