DP has said we might go into the shops on Sunday for the girls to do lego shopping.

We might need to make a list of what they want to look at or we may end up buying more than planned
DP might give in which works for me

Might have to update my list.

Sign up with brickset and download the brick by brick app for your phone. You can create a "have" and a "want" list on there.

Dd isn't keen on the coast guard stuff. I asked why. Her response when I asked what happens if her boat breaks down and it needs fixing was "but muuuuum, YOU fix the Lego when it breaks!" Can't argue with that...

Target have longer laybys with this weeks sale. Going to check out whether they have much. The local target has been scarily bad for range lately!!

I'm wondering if there is more marked down than what's in the catalogue, if not I will go to a shop that has both target and kmart

Will look at lay-bying though if DP can keep the kids occupied and the prices are good ;p

It's all Lego sets 20% off. Will depend what they have in store though.

Trying to get everyone organised this morning to get moving to the shops. Hard work!

Got a feeling we might miss out then if everyone gets in today / tomorrow

Will see what we can find.

Range at local target was pathetic. Really pathetic. What was pictures in the catalogue was about it. Picked up a couple of small creator sets but wasn't impressed by anything else. Went to the Lego shop instead...

It's DD1s bday & she was given $100 by her grandfather. Think I'll get the Kmart brick set with it. :-)

Dd arrived home with granma. Located new Lego. Asked daddy to help. He said "ask your mother"...

So tonight I've made the cargo heliplane, small red chopper and truck with digger thingy on trailer. She wants more done. I told her to go to bed lol

I think DP would be into me if I downloaded the app

Looking forward to Sunday & going to get the lego for the girls, letting them pick some out with DP there, he might let then pick more

I want the creator house I've seen PRMG has with the working light, I know BG has one too!

How awesome are the lego designs these days, what is your favorite?

So far I love DD1's rescue chopper!

Which house does she have? We have working lights in the three winter village houses. And the lighthouse. One of the other houses has a working doorbell (which is really quite annoying to listen to over and over and over...)

The heliplane is petty cool. I think I like it more because we've watched extreme logging on tv and it is really quite accurate in terms of how it looks.

Love the dolphin cruiser (may have mentioned that a time or two before thought). I reckon that and the houses are right up there on my favourites list. The other stuff is fun, but I really like the houses. I think because they are challenging to out together. Especially the lighthouse. That was awesome fun.

I'm hanging out for the arrival of the winter village market though. I so want to make that soon! Apparently Australia are deemed low priority to get it though. US toysrus are rather selfish and want it them all!

ZF. Why would downloading the app be a drama? Download the games like creationary and the city ones and then download the app as well and say you thought it was a building one but now you have it what's GREAT idea!

We may have visited target country here in town just to beak (it's been open a year - about time right?). And we may have found the police station in there for the cheapest price I've seen it. And it might be the one set dd has been asking us for - for months. And she might now be playing with the completed project....

Four instruction books, 9 big bags of Lego. Somewhere between 2 and 2.5 hours = one happy girl

One very happy girl! IS that the police station they were packing on megafactories? If so, that set was awesome!

Well DS's behaviour has been in need of improvement for a while now & I've had no idea what to do about it. Until now. I cracked it last night over his sooking and refusing to even try his dinner (tacos - seriously stupid kid sometimes lol). Anyway I did up a reward chart. He has 4 things to do that can earn him stars. Stop sooking and use words to tell us what's wrong. Try his dinner. He doesn't have to eat it if he doesn't like it, but if he won't even try it, it makes my blood boil! Get ready for bed or leaving the house at quicker than a snail's pace, without argument and brushing his teeth properly without whinging. I told him he can earn a star for these things and when he gets 10 stars, he can get a lego set (just a polybag one) and when he fills the whole page, he can get a big set. Well, turns out he likes tacos so there's one star. He was devastated when he failed the getting ready for bed one though. Gave him ages to put his pj's on and he decided to annoy his sister instead so no star. This morning - got ready to go without drama so there's his second star. Here's hoping it works! I'm looking forward to helping him put the lego together lol.

I also did a reward chart to try & convince DD to TT but no luck so far, lol.

I got my text from target yesterday saying my dolphin cruiser had arrived so I was planning to go get it this morning but DD's atrocious behaviour has meant we're not leaving the house. She ran off on me in the driveway (we live on quite a busy street). Boo No lego for me lol. Maybe if the shops are still open when DH gets home from work, I'll go then on my own.

Yes it's the police station from the mega factories ep as far as I know. It's pretty awesome. Hidden crow bars so the crooks can escape. Two cars. Three storey police building with helipad on top (need a police chopper now lol). Two garages with roller doors.....

Boo to little runaway delaying your picking up of the dolphin cruiser. That's all kinds of wrong!

Looks like Santa is giving miss e another Lego set for Christmas. Mums sister asked to layby a set with our Christmas layby for dd. Sure. Why not. Today she tells me she has now layby'd clothes for her. Sigh.
