Sounds like the one BG. Does it have a police dog as well? I want to buy that set just for the dog lol.

Both kids were complete ferals yesterday. DH got home early enough so I was like, right I'm outta here. Of course they behaved perfectly for him. Then I got home... On the plus side I got my dolphin cruiser but haven't opened it yet.

I forgot to see if they had the pool in store. I might have to buy it online if it's still available as I don't think I'll be able to get back in before Wednesday.

Not sure of the 20% off applies to target online so might be worth trying to go in

Yup, police station has a little dog. He's a bit cute.

My 13yo niece came over with mum for roast dinner last night. She wanted so badly to put Lego together. So now the friends high school is set up again. And the pool. And a car that happened to be out (which is what set her off. Seeing all the pieces she just HAD to put it together to see what it was lol)

So now we have bigger all room left with everything that is set up at the moment lol

My last post didn't load, long story short both target & big w were sold out yesterday so paid $100 at toy shop when we found 1 left hidden

DD2 picked the cafe & DD1 picked the pet shop. Building the cruiser today, the other 2 we built last night!

i still reckon 100 is reasonable to pay for the cruiser. cheaper is better (cos then you can get more!) but for what it is, and what you pay for a lot of the other sets, $100 is very reasonable

She's happy & it's built and looks awesome.

DD2 wants the coast guard boat set for x-mas - big w have it for $88 which is awesome as it's a ship, small boat, lighthouse & dive thing... Might lay-by it.
    DD1 wants the pool & school ;p

Have just spent time pulling Lego apart. Apparently the "girl" Lego is flavour of the day... "Muuuuum can you please put away the police station and all the boy cars? Pleeeeeeease?"

I'm waiting for the request to put together more of the friends sets...

Lol, kind of glad all ours are in one box, I don't have to take each thing apart individually.

I think we WILL need more storage though so we can sort by color & shape

Just told DP we will need some more storage, small parts don't worry me, they are in the separate tubs

I'm thinking about taping cardboard into the container we have now as dividers so the girls can seperate into color or size!

Also need to sort out the 'little bits' container to make it a bit more usable, might also make those little drawers more of a lego holder too (maybe people / clothes) in a drawer etc.

Decision was made for me lol. Sold out online of the pool set. I don't really need it lol. I can wait for the next sale.

Not sure how to work the storage yet. I think the OCD part of me will want to keep all the sets separate. But I struggle to keep the toys they have now together. All those little bits & pieces might prove too hard I think.

DS's reward chart isn't going so well He's determined to be difficult.

Rowellen - your DS sounds as stubborn as mine, lol! Some kids just don't do rewards, no matter how tempting! It's actually a good thing... I think...

DH asked why we couldn't just mix the sets together too, but the OCD glint in my eye stopped him dead and he hasn't said a word since! I don't think I'd cope at all if they got 'messed up', but I have conceded that when we get roofs, windows and door pieces they can go in with the 'big box Lego'!

Can you buy figures separately? Looking for a few nice people figurines, not the random ones in a packet that you don't know what you're getting til you open them - DS would be freaked out by how most of them look! Oh, except for the Gingerbread Man - we'd love that

They had Santa a few sets back in the random people set

The lego shop here has lots of people on a table so you can pick what you want.

The OCD side of me has to keep it separate. Thankfully dd seems similar to me with her lego. We have the "random" stuff broken down a bit for ease of use. Roof pieces in one container, doors/windows in another, normal bricks in another, small bricks (1x1 and 1x2) in another so that it can be packed up if little kids come over. We also couldn't find a container big enough for all of it to go in. It makes it easy having them separate. So much easier to find the bits we need!

Look on eBay. :-) That's where I've bought figures.

My favourite is now the camper van that DD1 got for her bday. She also got a pink suitcase of Lego and loves that. It has a cute little cat in it.

Is that the friends camper with bikes and stuff? We had trouble getting that locally so had to get it off eBay. It's cute
