mothers day here is a non event for me.

We will get up, dh will go to work earlier than normal because its another special day that people insist upon doing things like lunch and dinner out somewhere special.
I bet there will not be anything special going on here, just another normal day.
But Im sure MIL will gatecrash the morning and make sure that I dont get to celebrate it at all.

But then again dh said yesterday that "he may attempt to make an effort this year, because I have earnt something special" Im still biting my tongue with that one!
