Nadda here too.
I actually have a training course in the CBD and will be probably coming home to pasta for dinner!

The usual daily grind
Pre kids DH used to go all out, sending flowers to me at work, fancy dinners, etc. One year we went to a fancy restaurant and it all just seemed so fake and set up, everyone there for the exact same reason, eating the same thing.
Since we've had kids, I told him no presents so the last couple of years he has cooked me dinner which is spesh for me as I get a night off cooking and he really puts the effort in and looks for a new recipe to learn. I'd prefer him to make a big deal on my birthday![]()
We usually just have a nice meal. Since havinng DD that usually involves take out of some sort.
Mil is babysitting so we can go out for a nice mealwe dont do presents
Normal day here too - but may try and do something nice for DH. He has hard a rough few weeks and deserves to feel spesh. Not sure how tho.....perhaps a roast??
Ph i should add the girls made a letterbox and little love heart notes for daddy this morning at the library.. might do some craft with the girls and make DP a card..
I bought myself earrings today so I'll get DH to give them to me. I bought him an oven mitt for his love of his life Weber Q (for $1.75), possibly not fair, but there it is.
Love your valentines day Ubba!
I usually get a card, DH will be at work though so nothing special here!!
Is what we will be doing... LOL.
First time DTD since Charlotte was born, and exactly 6 weeks after too!! I am so scared but soooooooo damn excited!!Oh and I might cook him a rack of lamb or something (I don't eat red meat at all so that's pretty special!)
So it may be a good VD, it may be a bad VD... we'll see!!it's good!!
We don't usually do anything big, maybe go out for dinner... why wait for a single day of the year to spoil the one you love? I like to spoil him everyday...
Sorry about the dodgy typing!
Rouge, your day sounds perfect! We would be trying to do something similar if not for work
it will be 6 years monday since DH asked me out (we had to wait a week to actually DO anything cos i had my wisdom teeth out the next day lol) - but it's a spesh day for us anyway.
We are going for dinner with friends.. one couple another of DH friends that is a single mum..
Should be fun!
Wont be spending money but thought we could have a nice dinner at home with some candles and once DD is in bed we can sit down with some champagne and work on the wedding invites!
Might save those ones for the relos as who knows what they will turn out like after a few glasses of bubbles!![]()
