Good idea on the waiting, too. According to the news website, there were 900 people in the first half an hour! The article also mentions something about "running at about 450 shopping groups coming every half hour." - Not sure what that means, exactly, but maybe they tours for the newbies?

People everywhere I was lucky that my friend has a membership as we got in straight away!!!!!!!! Line up for people needing to get membership organised was soooooo long.
I got 148 huggies for $67.99
60 rolls of kleenex cottenelles toilet rolls for $29.79
Duracell AA batteries 36 pack for $24.99
Lots of good buys but you need to know your prices!
16 inch pizzas look yummy for $14.99
lots of seafood and meat and frozen stuff.
They sell fridges, jewlerry, computers, glasses, cook wear etc
If you are interested in frozen stuff or fresh stuff take a cooler bag or esky in boot of car!!!
If going with kids take a snack or toy as they get shirty sitting in trolley!!as takes ages to get around (massive trolly has 2 kid seats on them!)

I was thinking the same thing BUT - your membership card has to have your photo on it, and you'd probably have to pick it up, so you'd probably have to wait in the lines anyway.
