Oh ree ree it really is challenging all the preparation and at times head screw that goes on. I never had 17 hours of good contractions and then stop. My first one I would get a few hours and then stop for weeks and weeks. The good news is, when it did really start her labour from start to finish was under 2hours. Your body has done some work.
