Hi everyone! I haven't be around at all over the last few months. Congratulations to all the new babes and pregnancies! Things have changed so much in the months I've been away!

Firstly I should let you know that I gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy on the 17/9. He was born at home but unfortunately we needed to transfer a couple of hours later when I had a pph. Little Luca was also born very small at 2.4kg which led to an even longer stay at hospital the stay at hospital was quite upsetting, there was quite a lot of smugness on their part because I'd transferred. I had many comments questioning the care I received during pregnancy because of Luca's size. Funnily enough I'd gone in at 37 weeks at request from my me because I was measuring small, only to be told all was fine and refused a growth scan. I guess in the end it turned out ok as if it was discovered I no doubt would have been induced. He is a strong healthy boy, just little.

Birth was so very different this time! I'll have to write it all out.

Eenee, it sounds like you're having a really hard time big hugs and lots of love to you xx

The mrs, on the pph stuff. I had one this time. It happened about 2 hours after birth while I was in bed feeding. Honestly, your mw will do everything that they would in hospital. I was given a the injection and they set up a drip with fluid. The called a ambulance strait away and did that while we were waiting. Once I arrived at hospital i was put on a syntocin drip. Pph was always my biggest fear about hb, but when it actually happened I was surprisingly calm, I knew i was in safe hands with medical professionals and the medication I needed.
