Well I had my dating scan yesterday and everything looks fine. Measuring spot on what I thought my dates were, heartbeat was 129bpm and Im due March 2nd. So thats a relief.

The not having a decision made about ante natal and birth care is not however Most options wont even let me sign up for anything until we have a fixed address in Perth and the military housing people wont give us a house until 4 weeks before moving (there is absolutely zilch available atm for our move dates) which puts me at over 12wks by the time we get to Perth. So frustrating!

The independent midwife emailed me back, I just dont know if I can convince hubby that $5000 will be worth it. But Im terrified of trusting the public system again and private care doesnt really offer the kind of birth Im looking for.
