    Haha sorry Tegam!!

We've got our birth plan meeting this week!! Woohoo, although at this stage I feel like I want to have a birth instead of a meeting about it. SO. Much. Pressure Surely I can not stay like this for another 4+ weeks....

    i like Archie!
    Ernie, Oscar, Finley

i had 2 boy names and 2 girls name picked each time, but when DS was born i decided i didn't like either name. it took us another 12 hours or so to decide on a name. the girls were named soon after birth, but DD2 s second name took a few days.

are you kids really ugly babies Tegam? poor kids

Just horribly long and skinny hotI. Look like skinned rabbits. Only ugly until the full fat boobie juice kicks in then they are cute

Just waiting for a meeting she's had 4 babies in 2 days delivered
So she couldn't talk long to me .
She sounded more negative than the OB to be honest !

She knows how much I want this homebirth and how hard I've had to fight so far so I'm sure shell give me every chance .
I saw a pic on her page of one of her deliveries yesterday and it made me quite sad that my placenta might stop me having my homebirth
I don't quite know how to deal with it all or wrap my head around a c-section yet :-/

    Re: Homebirth General Discussion #21

Yes we had a big talk she wants 2cm and baby head down to even attempt a home birth
I am terrified of being cut open/medical procedures/needles - ill take a hospital birth if I can just birth bubs vaginally
It's so up in the air !
I had post natal depression with my son and was a dark 6 months I never want to go back into that kind of headspace ever again. I just don't know how to deal with a c-section when I have easy births it
    Just seems so wrong!
Now I'm rambling - i really appreciate all the support so much

    Re: Homebirth General Discussion #21

Hmmmm.. 2 cms sounds pretty arbitrary and exactly what my ob wanted for me with DD1. My placenta was measured at 1.7 cms away at 37 wks and I had a c/s two weeks later. It was the wrong decision. Who's to say it wouldn't have been okay or at least, okay to try a vaginal birth? Baby had engaged fine and it was three weeks shy of my EDD. My next two babies came at 40 weeks. I had no bleeding or issues during pg.

I read a great home birth story of a woman with a low lying placenta on Gloria Lemay's blog. That should've been me!
