I packed an "after birth/transfer bag"... but forgot to pack any toiletries in it so good thing we didn't transfer

    I had:
    - change of clothes for me
    - pyjamas for me
    - black undies
    - pads
    - breastfeeding naturally book
    - blissful herbs (peri-natal kit & breastfeeding tea)
    - a few changes of clothes for baby
    - baby hats on top for straight after birth
    - cloth nappies

cloth nappies and the hats - totally forgot but yes i take 4 hats, two pink and two blue for straight after the birth. They get wet quickly so you need a change and it stops the MW wrapping the baby with its head in which it makes it next to imporrible to breast feed correctly!

gosh all i had was a change of clothes for me and bub, some pads and a bunch of black knickers. i figured that everything else could wait as if i was to transfer it would be an emergency anyway and i wouldnt need much more than that for the immediate. but i love to fly by the seat of my pants bahahahaha!

I guess that's why I called mine an "after birth" bag as I packed the things I wanted rather than really planning for a transfer (hence the lack of toiletries I think ). I found it really handy too because people would ask where these things were, or I would ask for them, and I could say it was all in that bag so it was easily found.
