So, chat with our midwife today.
First, she reckons if DD had come down with teh normal presentation, then i might not have needed an epis, so there's a chance I might birth without being cut in future. yay.
Second, she says homebirth with the program is probably out of the question after such a big pph. Maybe we could do a domino birth. It wouldn't be for a few years anyway, so who knows where we'd be by then. A little bit bummed (cos yeah, already thinking about the next one )
Stoked, how big was your pph?

Bugger MadB. But a domino birth would still be a great option. My PPH was 850mls.

ah, ok, mine was a fair bit bigger.
domino's definitely 2nd best option. We were quite happy with swans in the end too. anyway, getting a bit ahead of myself here

Oh Mad you are already thinking more....woohoo i love to hear that!

Pity about no homebirth next time, but after experiencing 4 different births i can firmly say there is no perfect birth, the only thing any of us can do is find the best birth options that will work for that pregnancy within this system..... pity it has to be that way but i believe we are making baby steps for our daughters!

On the plus side, my SPD isn't too bad (except for today cos I was pushing a heavy trolley) and my blood pressure is lower than its ever been before! So yay!

You mean have a breech VB? Nah they don't do that at the LBC unfortunately.

Sterla - yeah I know there is still time, I remember eden doing exactly the same thing grrrr. Anna will probably ring you anyway, cos I asked her about the VBAC meeting with everyone who is going for one and she said she was going to call everyone and try to set it up.
