Oh Tash, I am so so sorry. What utterly devastating news. You and your DH will be in my thoughts. I am sending love and strength to you both and precious wiggle monster.
I truly hope for a miracle - you deserve one.
Alright everyone, I'm seriously stuck. Every midwife I've contacted so far, with one exception, is on holidays on 1 Jan. Surely this can't be all the m/ws close to me in Sydney? The one I did manage to get a hold of who can be there for me is too far away for visits up until the birth (I don't fancy a 3 hr round trip when I have DD at school and work 3-5 days a week).
I've contacted all the m/ws again and I'm hoping one can provide me with a list of other m/ws close by that might be able to help.
Any suggestions??? Feel free to PM me if you know someone! I tried contacting some people I know IRL too and nothing has come up yet.
Who'd have thought this would be such an issue? I have promised DP to keep the ob appt as a back up in case there are issues at the scan in 2 weeks, like with DD. But fx I don't need this, as I don't even want to go if I can help it. But with no m/w sorted, I won't have that choice!
my ban hasnt worked and i got a notification.... tash NO my heart is screaming in pain for you! I cant bring myself to believe it, i dont want you to feel this pain again! understand you taking a step back but remember there is loads of support here for you too!
Thanks Stoked. I had a great chat with a really awesome (and unfortunately unavailable) m/w who has given me a list. While I know of a few on the list who are 'nos' at least I have a couple to try. Fx!
But I had no idea it would be this hard. It's not like I live out the back of beyond or something! Maybe it would be easier if I did live someone near a hippie commune. Is Sydney just not very pro-HB or is it just that we all like our Xmas holidays too much?
I'll let you all know how I go. Still happy to field suggestions!

Tash, I have no idea what is going on as I can't access the thread, but I just wanted to send you some massive hugs. I really hope your babe will be ok.
Some happy news at my end ECV was successful today, bub turned head down quite easily and quickly. I am currently rolling/bouncing on my fit ball to shake it into my pelvis so it stays head down! Lol. Other good news is it's June today so I've made it to the time I can stay home to birth yippee!! Have started setting up the cosleeper cot tonight and sorting through some baby stuff. Getting wraps and blankets etc together for the birth. Getting exciting now! Just need bub to stay put and not flip back around in the next day or so.
