Ah crap Cas! That is not what I want to hear. Well I will just have to watch an wait. My lochia only fully left about a week ago. I really don't want to be pregnant again that soon. If it is meant to be tho, there is nothing I can do. Ok well there is, but I am not prepared to do it.

    Watch this space lol!

Anything is possible Bella, but I've had fertile CM shortly after baby, and not become pregnant. DH and I do not use any birth control. It is not impossible that you could be pregnant, but it is HIGHLY unlikely, especially since your baby is still nursing around the clock. Try not to panic - just go get a few pregnancy tests, and take one every few days, starting in 2 weeks or so, to put your mind at ease. I always keep 3 or 4 dollar store tests in the cupboard for panic attacks.

yep, this is us too. for some reason my body just has fertile CM but we have been able to not conceive (and we dont use much protection...the odd condom here and there).

I dont think there is any worry, I am certain that it is just the body readjustment. but it is so hard to know when you havent had AF return yet to know where you are your cycle...i kept a handy packet of HPTs in the drawer for those moments of trepidation lol.

Wow, I've just caught up! It's been busy in here.
Big hugs Bella, I know the feeling of mild panic that can occur when you think you may be preg. and you don't necessarily want to be. My DH and I are very fertile too. We have never had a problem conceiving. Now that I have just had a bub, I am concerned with ensuring we don't get preg. anytime soon. With my last bub, my cycle didn't return until he was 15months old- it was great! With my other bubs, they were both 13 months old. So I would get the shock of my life if my periods returned before DS3's first birthday. Thinking of you hun and hoping that it works out how you and DH want it to.

Your poultry keeping joke had me in stitches Cassius! There IS a lot of clucking going on in here.

All is well with me, apart from a bit of pin with a nearly-healed cracked nipple. DS3 is thriving. He put on 230g in 4 days! I think I will lose my baby weight without a lot of effort this time around. I am going to attempt to put some birth photos in my BB album next time I am on the computer- I have one of those awesome post-birth euphoria shots. I love it.

I hope you are well Loulabelle, and enjoying your precious bub.

Yes photos please ash! Also, I hope your nipple is ok...the newborn suction strength is incredible!

Try not to stress Bella....I thought if the white discharge was only a day or two after dtd...could it be the semen? I didn't have a cycle between dd and ds, and they are 27 months apart, so to be fertile at six weeks pp would scare the crap out of me!

Oh tegam.... You are making me very nervous!!!!!! We are a really fertile couple. Which is great no doubt. But I really don't want to be having a nb with a 11 month old! Also DH is doing his last exam this year. He is working and studying full time. For example he gets home at 6 after a ten he day and is back in his office at 7:30 after dinner and helping me with the bed/bath routine..... We are about to move house and it would be such bad timing..... I have a really bad feeling about this .

Oh and hotI, yes bits do work just a little tender at the peri. Not the area I tore at, a completely diff area. Just gentle stuff.

Suffice ro say, DH was pretty eager!

Bella, you can try an OPK to see if you O today or in the next few days.

I've had CM for about two weeks now so i'm also waiting. We are using condoms, but not as diligently as we should.

We DTD once deliberately to TTC. And we have two DDs. My mum is already getting three new grandchildren this year, she doesn't need a fourth!

I ran into my ob at the shops today (first time in nearly seven yrs I've ever done that and I've been dying to tell him we HBed). I told him how well it all went and he congratulated me and said that was fantastic. His wife is a m/w and he actually wasn't particularly negative about HB when we saw him at 12 wks. He did seem genuinely pleased I'd had a good experience.

Hope Ash and Loulabelle are both still enjoying your babymoons! May isn't far away for our next HB mummas on the list!

PS We first tried DTD after three weeks. Was more enjoyable after about a month had passed. The bits worked, but they weren't really back in shape first time around!

I think my SIL did a test at night? I've never done one. I'm pretty sure I was ovulating pretty early after Sahti was born though..... hope it turns out the way you want it to xxx

I don't see why not? I took mine to TTC just before lunch. And then DP was on notice for the rest of the day!

Thanks MNB, it feels kinda sh*ty, wishing a baby that may already be concieved away. What will be will be tho and I would treasure any baby I was blessed with. The timing is just up the creek is all. When DH was just about to finish up I almost said to him, "for gods sake, don't come inside!" but thought it would ruin the mood. Surely he would remember right!? Afterwards I said something about it and he was shocked he had forgotten. that hasnt happened in 7 nearly 8 yrs we have been together. So if a baby results, it will be fate!
