Just wanted to let you know I had cervidril with both ds's and responded very quickly to it both times, with ds1 my waters broke spontaneously about 5 hours after the tape was inserted and contractions started straight after that and I went on to have a VB without the drip and with ds2 contractions started pretty much as soon as the tape was in waters broke spontaneously about 4 hours later and ds arrived about an hour after at 3.35am, about 6 hours after the cervidril was inserted. I hope everything goes well for you and you can avoid the drip, keeping upright and moving around during labour will help things along too.

I didn't get to reply sooner as I ended up needing to have an emergency c-sectioon anyway, my pelvis was too small for my little man to come out naturally, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
