Thanks so much for all your input ladies I hadn't actually realised that I can say no, so I will definately be doing everything in my power now to not let it happen, thanks again The accupuncture sounds interesting but am I too far along to start?
Brianna I couldn't let that pass without saying something.

Hun, your body is still your body when you are in the hospital. Just like you wouldn't let anyone touch you or do something to you that you didn't want in your house, or on the street - you still have legal and moral autonomy over your own body in a hospital. If you don't want to do something you say no. Anything done to you after that is assault, the same as the rules "out here" Please don't give your power away - you don't need permission for anything. YOU make the decisions about your body and your baby. Their job is to give you medical advice, it's up to you whether or not you take it once you are satisfied that their advice is well founded.

They aren't going to kick you out or refuse to treat you because you won't be induced at 10 days post. So please don't worry about those sort of repercussions.
