It might be a circulation thing?? No idea.. but I would think it would only be a problem if they're left in there too long.. in which case ANY chair would be uncomfortable and un-ergonomic!
Good point Barb haha. A high chair might be the ONLY place a baby gets flat foot support. Even then... I don't think even now my kids feet would reach the foot rest on their high chair LOL. I don't know many 6-12 mth olds that would reach the foot rest either.
I wouldn't stress about it SueOur high chair has crotch support.. which keeps them a bit more upright. But they shouldn't be starting solids until they can support themselves sitting up anyway, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue either.
