Hi all. I'm a total newby who is just posting for the 1st time today (my first post was in a different thread; this is post #2), although I've been so grateful to have the privilege of all of your wisdom over the past few weeks as I've been lurking. My background is that I'm 38 and just found out I have low AMH (6.9), and DH has poor morphology (1%), which I guess explains why I've never been pregnant despite not using birth control since 2004! I had a lap/hyst 2 1/2 weeks ago, and, luckily, on the physical side everything looks good for me. We're now starting our first ICSI cycle, which is the first fertility treatment I've ever done (DH was not interested in taking the active approach until recently . . . grr).
Anyway, I just gave myself my first Puregon injection today. It wasn't bad at all. I'm just starting to get nervous because before I injected, I filled out my card listing the amount in the cartridge (600), the amount I was shooting up (275), and the amount left (325). Now I'm starting to get nervous as to whether I dialed 275 or, mistakenly, 325, when I shot up. I didn't start thinking about this until after I had removed the old needle. I'm guessing that I'm probably just pyching myself out thinking that I messed it up, but I'd like to check if possible. Do any of you know if it will mess up the cartridge if I try to turn the dial until it stops to see how much Puregon is left? Or do any of you know any other way to verify how much is left? Sorry for such a dumb question, but now I feel like I need to verify this so that I know if I messed up or not.
Thanks very much in advance for any help, and good luck to everyone!
