Oh, don't be too concerned, it is all front! I have been knitting officially for 3 years, I *knew* how to knit for about 10 years prior to that but that is if you call misshapen items, knitting with unintentioned holes, beginning and never finishing hundreds of scarfs and accidental picking up and dropping of stitches 'knitting'! I was more of a crocheter and was reasonable with that. Then I went through post natal depression last year and the thing which kept me sane was knitting. That and Ravelry created the perfect set up for my knitting to take off.
Mind you, making clothes… you will notice that all my pieces are small, quick knit (quick gratification ) no big impressive committed items in my list, just enough to make my knitting prowess look good at a glance AND I have never successfully knit a scarf!
Plus, don't you have some Afgan glory you should post about?? I'd love to see some pics and details of that work.
