Gosh....ive had a few nasty comments myself, but nothing like that. I agree, she is sooooo jealous.

More recently ive had:
"Im pregnant"
reply: "God, go the mini bus" !!!!!!!!!!-(no congrats or anything....)
or
"We're pregnant"
reply:"Well, you two really need to find a new hobby"............

Both hurtful comments, both comments ive ignored, but now and then they creep back into my mind.

ETA: i love the swallow that comment......that is gold......

I am angry and venting.. Sorry.. BUT I am so sick of people carrying on about children as if they are the worst thing.. I JUST LOST TWINS.. I would love to have my babies here.. and when I was pg with twins I heard "Oh no.. is it in the family?" and when I said we had twins in the family she said "Oh so you were doomed" DOOMED!! WTF, BLESSED more like it.. I felt lucky to have 2 bubs when some women have none.. Now I am 1 of the women who have none.. So to all those b****s who don't want kids.. give yours to me!!!! My best friend was 1 of 6 live babies (mum had 12 pregnancies) and when My best friend used to come and tell us "Mum is having another baby" she reckons I was the only one who would get excited.. Her mum used to get comments like "Don't you have a TV" etc etc... Anyway I think anyone who has a live baby is lucky.. the more they have the luckier they are..xx

Hi girls - I know exactly the sort of comments you get when you have a large family - I think number 5 is the number that tips that balance. When I have miscarried I have had family congratulate me. There are some days when I am feeling drained that to go out with my kids and recieve another negative comment would send me over the edge almost. Nobdy likes to be a freak and I do feel like a freak show when I am out with my amazing, wonderful children and it sucks!!! I love my kids and lovebeing a mum to all 7 of them but I am not supermum and I do have feelings and it does hurt. Even when I am in a new group of people it is like I am pre judged to have it all together and that I think I am better than anyone and no-one will make a move to befriend me, but again I am still a person like everybody else who needs a friend or a smile. I am not perfect and struggle like any other mum whether they have 2 or 10 kids. It is funny though when I do get into a group every women there wants to justify themselves to me why they only have 1,2,3,4,...children! I don't care it is their life and mine is mine so please give us large families a break.

I totaly agree with the last two comments. People can be soooooooooooo rude and alot of people don't think before they say something. When I go out with my 5 children and the last two where twins I get you poor thing how do you cope. It's quite easy thank you.
