Briggsy's: really? My DH works for them and he's on very tight time schedules for his calls, so even if he wanted to have a friendly chat, he'd get into trouble for going over his call time limit targets.

it's about being able to balance your time. if i have one long call (today i took a 53 minute call), you have to make sure you don't end up blowing out on the others. so for every 10 address updates, you may find one is a bit longer, but five are less than the average time, and it balances out. there is no way all calls can be completed within the set time - some are longer, some are shorter. you just have to find balance - and it is averaged over 4 weeks.

if you're generally efficient, those longer calls really don't make a blip on the screen. i take, on average, 65 calls a day. on average, i meet the requirements - even today, with that 53 minute call.
