    I don't think I've ever received a blank Rep point... but lots of very brief ones that say things like "nice one" or just a smilie face.

    I usually highlight the part of a person's post that I especially liked such as "I especially liked your last paragraph, well written!" or I often just say "good advice" or "nice support".

    Dianne - at the top of every post is a pic of scales.. if you like the post then you click the scales and a box opens up.
