It wouldn't be too bad if you had other days off though. For 10mths my DH worked a 13 day fortnight and it damn neared killed him mentally it was that draining for him, not to mention I felt like a single mother and the kids never saw him as he was gone before they woke and was home after they were in bed - so that sucked big time.
