hmm... never really thought about it until now (Not that I have a son) but yeah, I guess it is the same if my DD wanted to. She has asked a few times but I have managed to talk her out of it re: the pain factor (she is nearly 4 yo). I'd like her to be a bit older, but that is just my personal preference
