Both DS's wanted it done Because they heard us talking about getting their Sister's ears done. We got them all done at the same time along with my mums two youngest:

So we went in to the Hairdressers and got DD (3) DS (5) DS (6) my sister (6) and My brother (13)... this was a year an a bit ago - out of my lot only the eldest DS has his in still, DD decided she didnt want them any more and DS kept playing with his and kept making his ear red and bleed so we took it out. My sister doesnt have hers anymore, and My brother still has his in...

I feel that if they want it it's their choice. They can choose to take it out if they want too :-D
