I personally wouldn't advise magnetic earrings (the 'stud' ones) for kids under about 10 years of age, I bought a few when I was in high school because my parents wouldn't let me get my nose pierced and they are *very* weak, fall off easily and could be very easily swallowed. There are probably different ones out there these days but the ones I had were a pain in the butt lol, even an earlobe was too thick for them to properly 'attach' to each other and they fell off without even a nudge! They are very small pieces though, so may not pose a huge choking risk, but I can see little ones swallowing them quite easilyThe PP who mentioned the little stick-on earrings had a good idea, I see lots of my friends' little girls wearing the stick-ons and they love them
Gigi, no worries hun. I had to go into day surgery to have mine removed but if it's just the one cyst, and depending on the size etc, you may be able to find a GP who will excise it under local anaesthetic - they go in through the back of your earlobe so you're not left with visible scarringGood luck, I know the feeling and it's not fun! x
