    Hi lovely ladies,
Just popping in quickly, sorry no time for personals. AF arrived last night after my IUI cycle, making it just on 10dpo, gosh that is a short LP, why? why? what is going on? Just for fun I did a POAS and had the faintest of faintest lines. What are the chances the my 5000iu trigger was still in my system 11.5 days after taking the trigger? Any thoughts? Or is this just wishful thinking?

I have an appointment to see FS tomorrow morning for a scan, if all good to go am going straight back into an antagonist cycle. Trying to be relaxed and refusing to work out my dates and just try to let nature (or meds) take its course (yeah right!).

Will BBL for personals and to catch up. Big hugs to all. x

MsPink just curious if you mean Dr Nick Lolatgis? I have a family friend who lives in Melbourne and she absolutely swears by him and insists he is the best in Australia.

Wouldloveabubba yay, looking forward to having a few "antagonist" cycle buddies. Lets hope we do indeed produce better quality eggs and get our much deserved BFP!

Loula and Smithy i too like the sound of a "twenty ten" baby.

Baby dreamtime sorry to hear the damn AF arrived. She always seems to arrive for the people who dont want to see her yet me on the other hand have been hanging out for her arrival for over a week and she only just arrived today. Looking forward to having you as a cycle buddy.

Well as i said above, AF FINALLY arrived today! So i am off to SIVF tomorrow for a BT and to pick up my meds (bring on the needles - i actually enjoy the stabbing, sick i know!). I am so excited this time around and cant wait to get straigh into it!

    TWW and progynova

    Hi all,
I am currently going through the TWW - Day 11 having had a FET blasty transfer last Thursday. I have lost count how many cycles/transfers I have had - none with any success. I have some mild bloating and lower abnominal pain (too late for implantation pain). This cycle we tried Progynova for the first time. I was wondering if anyone has had success with HRT? Also if you have had a BFP but still felt like you were just about to get AF?
I am trying to stay positive but it is hard...

BDT - am so sorry you got AF - no words ever make this TTC journey easier. Take care of you..
I think there is a possibility of the Pregnyl still being in your system - it was a massive dose..

Loula - looking foward to seeing you back in here (well sort of IYKWIM..)

Paula - YAY for AF - for a change...and yes I think that is the famous Dr Nick.

Smithy - hoping to see u here 'officially' soon...i know you've been waiting a while.

Annie - all the best sweetie..it's a tough road - believe me, I know.

hey Ms Pink and Wouldloveabub - I have been to see Dr Nick Lolagis. He is at Monash IVF ph 9429 9011. My bestie went to him and is due in july with #2. Difficult to make the decision to change FS again. But probably will.

Hey smithy, Loula, hi Paula, hi everyone.

congrats to grub17 - sooooo nice to hear good news.

    Sorry don't know about provera.

Does anyone have opinion about NK cell testing. used to be that Sydney was only place to get it done. Dr Nick does it, but I have heard that the melb labs are not as good as the sydney ones?????

    * warning mention of children and not continuing IVF below***

AFM - have been doing some mental exercises, examining why I would not want to have another child. sounds a bit new agey, but trying it out. reasons include too old, too impatient, too selfish, pretty easy with one, get to do what I want most of the time, not much mess with one, easy to travel and go and do things, another one would hurt my back more, I am too selfish, too much of a hassle, too hard.
Also have got very clear on getting responsible for how I am reacting to being on IVF, to when people ask me if I am going to have another child, or how the IVf is going, etc, and not being a victim of it to get sympathy. So my answer would be, "I tried for 2 years, it didn't work. So I stopped." Had to edit that to get all the "poor me" out of it. Even need to practice not getting my practitioners to feel sorry for me. It is a great source of attention. I need to get another hobby actually, as I spend a lot of my time in IVF mode, discussing, plannng, strategising, making deals with various gods etc.
Plan to get into something else, maybe give more of my attention to DD for at least some of the time. Maybe more effort into fun things, like a party for her, fun things with DH etc. Anyway food for thought to me, sometimes I just need to stream it all out. My sister reckons that I always save the day at the last moment, eg meeting DH when it was almost too late, ie I was 35, so that I may just get preg on my last go, so have booked FET for 2 weeks time, thinking it may be the last one. Probbly not, but maybe it would be more freeing to think that, so I don't have to do all this anymore. URGHHGHGH. ANyway feel quite good after all that. Thanks.

Sam&poppy, I hope you have peace when you make your decision, which ever it may be . Could you please pm me with your thoughts on Nick, I am considering a consult with him, and I would like to know before I do, how he may be able to help me.

    Hi to everyone

WLB - I would DEF go see this Dr Nick - I have spoken to several older girls and they think he is just fab. He also gets pretty good results.

With regards to NK - will I can say that I think Dr S in Sydney is probably the leader in this as he is doing a study on it. In saying that - I can't imagine the results elsewhere would be SO different - but who am i to say.

Sam - I hear where you are coming from. I wish I could get to the same place. Sadly, as I don't have 1 child, I don't know that I will ever be at peace in that area.
