Mel, I hope the steroids work for you. I'm sort of in two minds about them... my blood test level was ok-ish, but as I was on prednisone at the time, we felt that it could be affecting the blood test results. My arthritis has been so bad that I haven't been able to get off the sodding things, though! I've always been worried that the impact of the prednisone on my blood sugar levels is causing the insulin resistance to be worse and thus making the PCOS side of things even worse again (it's already frightened my other FS to see just how my insulin levels got during a GTT)... If you get any information on that side of things, I'd love some help! It's all been getting a bit much for my brain to cope with.
