    Ah, I understand now Marg.
I didn't realize they could grow IN the uterus. Cr*p!! Sounds terrible. Are there any drugs/herbs that can help to shrink them if not eliminate them? Although, that would probably take a while. Just trying to think of a way to make room for your little embie! All of my ET's have been done with the catheter and (I guess) the dr guiding it in to position his own way. But, I'm sure I read somewhere that some clinics do ultrasound-guided ET's. Maybe that could help to find a vacant space in there?

    Hey Girls
Just putting my bit in to this lol. Suzi yes 2 of my fet's and my stim were transferred with the catheter along with ultrasound guidence (male dr's) where as 1 fet wasn't as (female dr) she doesn't use it. So Marg maybe that will be a way for you mate good luck.

Tam all the best for your ph call tomorrow.

    Hi Girls –

Tam – my fingers are nearly meshed together from having them crossed for you! Am hoping for good news for your phone call tomorrow!!

Marg – thanks for the info on fibroids, I never new how much trouble they were. Sorry you had to go through all that though. I’ve spent a bit of time in Bendigo and grew up in the general vicinity (a bit further north). Good luck with the appt! Monday will be here before you know it.

Sue – I’ve heard of the ultrasound guided transfers too, but so far mine have been via the touch method. Glad you enjoyed the flowers sweetie, it’s nice to be noorty! :flower:

Vicky – Hope you’re resting up from a successful egg haul! Thinking of you petal.

Chele – Are you now in your TWW? Sorry, have lost track 8-[

Bee & Anney – how are you? Have you started a cycle yet??

Hi Bec, Sheree, Mel, Sushee, Trish and everyone else lurking! :smt039

Thanks everyone for listening to my hissy fit and your words of advice and comfort. To answer your question Anney, I’m with Melbourne IVF. And Tam, I have 7 frosties left. If I change Drs now I’d stick with MIVF. I’ll have a look into it. I think the clinic has a patient services manager – I might have a quiet word to her. The upshot of all this is that I have kinda lost interest in taking the primulut? I’ll see how I feel tomorrow. ](*,)

    Take care everyone,
    Cheers
    H

    Good evening
All my ETs have been u/s guided. Quite nify to watch. Last one I had a good view & could actually see the embie send off.

Marg, I never actually knew what fibroids are. Pretty hairy, hope all is ok. Can you spot them on internal u/s to keep an eye on them. Hope your appointment goes well.

Chele, hope the TWW is going ok. Take care of yourself.

Hope all you lovely ladies are taking care of yourself.

Hi Chele - keeping everything crossable crossed for you & thanks for the u/s ET info. :bluestick:

Hi SuziQ & Tam- thanks for the info on u/s guided ET - my two ETs so far were just the specialist taking 'pot luck'! I might ask about the u/s option when I'm at the new Clinic next week. Anything that might help is definitely worth it! They can see the fibroids on the internal u/s, in fact they get in the way when they're trying to see my follies! I'm sure the new Dr will want to check them out - I just hope it's fairly good news.

Hi Blue - I guess that's the frustrating thing with fibroids - they can really vary as to the trouble they cause. I guess mine aren't the worst scenario but they're still a big nuisance and do hinder my chance of gretting pregnant.

I think I was a little niaive two years ago when they were first diagnosed. I just assumed they'd whip them out and then I'd get preggers first go - so much for that! Now I'm doing a lot more research into them. I'm taking a couple of natural supplements that might help reduce them - and I changed my diet about three months ago to cut out some of the things that cause them (by producing too much oestrogen). Unfortunately that means things like dairy foods, chocolate, fried fatty foods, sugar, salt and caffeine! Things are never simple are they! But if it helps the fibroids and my fertility then it's definitely worth making the changes.

    Hi Girls,
Its my turn to need to vent...
I was due for my first FET transfer tomorrow and everything was going along really well. At least until last night... I suddenly lost hearing in my left ear. It just stopped and now all I have is this constant ringing. I cannot believe how suddenly it happened and not even like anything provoked it. Anyway I had to go to work as we are having an audit and boss is all stressed. Rang clinic very early this morn and the spoke to doc who said to stop taking progynova and cancel the transfer tomorrow, go see gp to rule out infection. Could only see gp at 11.30 and so boss was annoyed but I went anyway. I cannot believe how insensitive some men are, he knew I was having transfer tomorrow and that I had gone deaf but all he cared about was if I would be there tomorrow. I am so @#$$ed off cause I really now want to take a sickie tomorrow until my hearing returns, but at the same time cant bring myself to let him down. Afterall I kind of need him on my side in the future given that I will need more time off.
And all of this on top of the fact that I am totally dissappointed and emotionally distraught that I have to wait another hole month....It seams like forever....
    Grrr :fuming: at him!
I truelly hope everyone else is having a better time at the moment,
    Caryn

Chele, hoping for good things for you.

Caryn, bugger on the delay, hope all was well with your ear. Bugger bout your boss. It is a pain when you 'need' them.

Vicki, thinking of you & hope you're doin ok.

Well, think of me getting pg (ET) at 12 tomorrow. I was supposed to go into work, very busy at the moment, but told them I had prior baby sitting commitments (liar, liar pants on fire).
Actually I did tell the big boss last week as they offered me a promotion for July so thought I better say something as I would be hoping to be pg by then, but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to hang around waiting for it to happen either.

    Take care.

Hi Tam - just wanted to say I'm thinking of you today. :bdust:

Hi Caryn - so sorry to hear the FET didn't go ahead - and as for men who don't understand - I wont even go there! Take care.

Hi SuziQ - actually you're the first person who's commented on Collingwood! Obviously to have it in my pic means I am TOTALLY obsessed with football and all things B&W! Not that there's been too much to get excited about the last couple of seasons!

    Hope everyone's well.

    Can I swear here!!!!!
I just rang the clinic to see how it's all going, they just finished the thaw but it took all 3 to get 1 for transfer. Very daunting now as that means if this doesn't work it'll be full stim next cycle. Was always hoping it didn't get to that.
Why, why, why didn't one of the other ones work out right, stick in the right spot. After getting the 2 at the same time before not working properly I'm feeling really let down about it all right now.
Well at least I'll only have about 1 1/2 weeks to find out.
And hoping the little cry I had with myself gets it out of my system to get through the TWW.

Thanks for the good luck thoughts.

    Tam,

[-o< that your snowbub is a little sticker, and you'll never have to do another stim cycle ever again. You know I'll be thinking of you.
