    Syneral side effects

I've been on Syneral for 4 days and while I haven't had a headache or nausea (thankfully) I am really vague - my mind 'drops out' of conversations half way through, I don't remember driving home and I'm really really tired.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar symptoms.

Going to ring the clinic this morning and see what they say.

Hi Tarkine, I also had little side effects from the Synarel. I may have got a couple of mild headaches in the morning straight after sniffing but other than that the biggest thing for me was the tiredness. And i did become vague too, or should i say i would forget the simplest things. It is not listed as i side effect as far as i know so i wasn't sure if it was the Synarel.

But after hearing about you seems it could just be the Synarel!!

All the best with your ivf journey.

hi jules, thanx for your answer - my vagueness is becoming a concern for me, as I drove down a particularly twisty section of road yesterday and had absolutely no memory of me driving down that section of road - i found myself in the shopping centre carpark, and didn't know why I was there, or remember driving there (LOL... can't wait for menapause

I rang the clinic after I posted and the nurse there said tiredness and being a space cadet were all part of the side effects.. her advice to me was to drink water - but I've been drinking 2.4L a day and still getting the side effects **sigh** just hoping that I can get off it soon!!

Tarkine, the bad news is that you will be on synarel right up until your trigger. It's one thing that's not often clear in the information the IVF clinics give you. The good news is that you'll probably find that things get a bit more normal for you once you are able to begin your FSH injections. There's about two weeks on synarel alone before the other drugs start.

hi hun, hmmm i hope things improve for you. can DH drive you around instead? what a bugger having to deal with that. like BW says it should improve once you start the stims although they too sometimes have a vaguing effect as your E2- estrogen levels rise.
please watch yourself and take it as easy as you can.

    xx

    Hi Tarkine
Yes sounds very familiar i actually named it synaryl brain. I was sooooo forgetful like getting up from a chair and forgetting what i got up for, so much so that people actually noticed how ditzy i was. My boss rang me last night and said " Now i know your not really with it at the moment but do you remember....) so yes its very real and the only thing i was doing different was synaryl so i cant put it down to anything else. The good thing is it stops when you stop the synaryl but then hopefully you get to have baby brain!!!!! Good luck!
