Em - the needles actually don't hurt too much, though i had lots of little bruises all over my stomach last time. Plus lots of brownie points from DH as there is no way he can give them to me (he faints when I get a blood test!). But he does stand next to me (facing the other way) saying how brave I am and how proud he is, hehehe quite cute really! My EPU should be 20th as well, I'll let you know when I know what time it is, if yours is the same day, I kinda wish they put us out at westmead. The EPU is the thing I am most worried about!
Anyway just took my syneral and now my ears hurt...that's a new one!
Shelly i'm not looking forward to the EPU either.I'm crapping myself cause i don't know what to expect. My egg pick is the 20th or 21st i guess that all depends on how my body goes with the drugs. I'll be there bright and early on the 14th for my bloody and ultrasound.Your DH sounds very cute.My friend is going to give me my shots cause i just cant bring myself to do it and i don't trust DH cause if it hurt I'm sure i will blame him for it hurting so much lol.
Just letting you know that ive just got a text from Blayz and she is having a wonderful time. She still has not signs of AF so that is great. Im sure she will get her soon

I can't believe it, I'm just checking in to see about Blayz. I''ve realised I'm more anxious about her result than EPU tomorrow. Have decided to do the awake, how bad can it be? Besides, got to prepare for child birth, hey? I wish.

Unfortunately my 2 eggs didn't make it over the weekend. Even though on Saturday afternoon we got a call from the embryologist to say that one had actually been fertilized. It wasn't worth transferring this morning.
Oh well first cycle hurdles! Here's to the next one being more successful. Keep an eye out for me I will be back. With alot more eggs!

Em - It's shot day today honey! Hope it goes okay with you, I assume you are going to the clinic for the first one? What dosage are they giving you? I had the big debate last night whether I do morning or night. Because I commute to work (bring on October and my permanant long weekends!), if I go mornings then it will have to be 6am, so no weekend sleep ins. If I go night time, It has to be 10pm to ensure I will always be home! ARGH Decisions, Decisions!
I'm also checking in to see if any news re. Blayz!
Tan ... I'm also so sorry to hear your little embies didnt make it! It just means you'll have heaps more next cycle! and we can share the cycle together. I have my appt on the 14th and they will then work out when I can start! Cant wait now.
One of my colleagues is also going through her first cycle and she hasnt had the best reaction to the shots! Poor thing. She's been advised that her blood levels need to be right otherwise they might not be able to do EPU (Gosh so many things)! She should go in next week! So I am also hoping all goes well for her!

Mum of 5 how you doing with your shots? Any reactions? Hope all OK. And gees Shellyd ... didnt realise you had to take shots same time each day! Another thing to add to my list of 'to think about'!

Oh my God and pickle my grandmother, if this isn't the worst pain I can remember. I'm sittting propped up writing this, why, I dont know, must be mad .it wasn't so bad at the time but now, I feel like someone whacked me with a pole in the ovaries.or maybe they did. Anyways they got eight eggs for all that trouble so i'm happy, now well wait and see.And no Blayz yet, either. Oh well, sweet dreams everyone especially anyone who had their EPU tiday....
sienna - I'm so glad your EPU went well, fingers crossed for ET.
Em, how did you go with your needle today? I discovered that after a two month break, I am out of practice. Thank god for patients that I'm not a nurse, I managed to make myself bleed...too much for such a small needle. The bruise tomorrow will be a whopper!
Well, still no sign of Blayz....she is proablably off enjoying her holiday while we are all suffering the TWW for her....too funny!
