I had one back in April 2002, and got pg in May 2002..........(I suffered an MC with the pregnancy, but the two were NOT connected.)

It was a quick day procedure, under general anaesthetic. They had a good look at my tubes and the "flush out" apparently often gets the little hairs in your fallopian tubes a "wake up call" and getds them active and moving, hence many women fall pregnant soon after.........
