I had a laperoscopy and hysteroscopy in April this year. I wasn't in too much pain after, it was more just uncomfortable as you had to think before you moved quickly...didn't even have stitches as they used glue! They found that I had some endometriosis which I had never had any symptoms of before but as my TTC journey is affected mainly by the quality of DH's sperm it didn't assist us to fall pregnant although when I had my first embryo transfer my FS was happier that my uterus etc was clear...unfortunately it was not successful! I think it would be worthwhile to give it a go but everyone has a different response to anaesthetic etc so I guess you would just need to make a decision based on your feelings and advice from your FS?!
